What is NESA?

NESA is a form of non-invasive neuromodulation that uses very low-intensity microcurrents delivered through contact points on the hands and feet.

These gentle electrical signals are designed to support regulation of the autonomic nervous system—the system involved in automatic functions such as rest, recovery, sleep and the body’s response to stress.

Sessions are comfortable, non-invasive and tailored to each person’s circumstances and goals. NESA is intended to support wellbeing and nervous-system regulation; it does not replace medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

Other Areas of Support

NESA may also be used to support other needs relating to nervous-system regulation. Please contact us to discuss what you are experiencing and whether a NESA programme may be suitable for you.

Individual experiences vary, and no particular outcome can be guaranteed. NESA is a supportive wellbeing service and does not replace medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

Areas of Support

NESA neuromodulation may be used to support a range of wellbeing needs linked to nervous-system regulation. The focus and recommended number of sessions will depend on your individual circumstances, goals and suitability.

In Mental Health, protocols specifically target the vagal and sympathetic circuits underlying hypervigilance, anxiety and autonomic shutdown.

Sleep and Rest

Support for people experiencing difficulty settling, disrupted sleep or feeling insufficiently rested.

Stress and Emotional Regulation

Gentle support for managing stress responses, feeling overwhelmed and finding a greater sense of balance.

Focus and Self-Regulation

Support for adults with ADHD or neurodivergent traits who experience difficulties with focus, regulation or mental overload.

Fatigue, Brain Fog and Recovery

Support for people experiencing persistent tiredness, cognitive fatigue, brain fog or difficulty recovering from periods of stress.

Persistent Pain and Physical Tension

A supportive approach for people experiencing ongoing discomfort, muscular tension or pain-related disruption to everyday life.

What to Expect

Your NESA programme will be shaped around your individual circumstances, the support you are seeking and how you respond over time. We will explain the process clearly and give you the opportunity to ask questions before beginning.

How Long Does It Take?

Appointments are booked for up to 60 minutes. This allows time for a brief check-in, the NESA programme and discussion of any agreed next steps.

Before beginning, we will provide relevant information about the service, consider suitability and ask for your informed consent. NESA is currently offered to adults aged 18 and over.

1

Initial Conversation

We will discuss what you are experiencing, what you would like support with and any relevant health information. This helps us consider whether NESA is appropriate for you.

2

A Personalised Approach

If we agree to proceed, we will select the most appropriate neuromodulation programme for your needs and explain the proposed course of sessions.

3

Your NESA Session

During the session, gentle microcurrents are delivered through contact points placed on the hands and feet. You can sit or recline comfortably while the programme runs. Please tell us at any point if you have questions or feel uncomfortable.

4

Review and Next Steps

We will review your experience and progress throughout the programme. The number and frequency of sessions varies depending on the reason for using NESA, your individual circumstances and how you respond.

Sessions and Pricing

NESA is personalised rather than offered as a one-size-fits-all programme. The number and frequency of sessions will vary depending on the reason for seeking support, your individual circumstances and how you respond.

£100

per 60-minute appointment

Each appointment includes a brief check-in, delivery of the appropriate NESA programme and time to discuss your experience and any agreed next steps.

Your Recommended Programme

NESA is commonly delivered over a course of sessions rather than as a single appointment. Following an initial discussion, we will explain the programme we believe is most suitable and provide an indication of the recommended number and frequency of sessions.

Your progress and experience will be reviewed throughout. Where appropriate, the programme may be adjusted as your needs develop.

Clear from the Beginning

You will be told the recommended approach and likely overall cost before agreeing to an ongoing course of sessions. There is no expectation that you commit to further appointments before we have discussed suitability and answered your questions.
